Agilis ALB 180-K Series C-Band BUC (Block-Up converter) is a highly cost effective outdoor RF transmitter for satellite communication. Easy to install, it is redundancy-ready and field-proven for any harsh operating environment. The BUC is suitable for both data and voice communication operating in different modulation formats including BPSK, QPSK, QAM and FM.

Agilis C-Band BUC is designed for the SCPC (Single Channel Per Carrier) network configurations and for the low or intermediate data rate for MCPC (Multi-Channel Per Carrier), DAMA (Demand Assigned Multiple Access) or TDMA (Time Division Multiple Access) applications.

Agilis C-Band BUC offers a wide range of distinctive advantages and enhanced features for satellite communications systems based in remote or challenging geographical regions. The Agilis ALB 128 8W BUC (Ku-Band) is a highly cost effective RF outdoor transmitter for satellite communication. It is suitable for both data and voice communication operating in different modulation formats including BPSK, QPSK, 8-PSK / 8-QAM / 16-QAM, 16-APSK and 32-APSK.

Acorde Technologies ACTX-Ka5W 5W Ka-Band Block Upconverter (BUC)

The Acorde ACTX-Ka5W is designed for Ka-Band Satellite communication systems.

ACTX-KaBUC is integrated with power supply, phase locked oscillator, power amplifier and frequency converter. ACTX-Ka series BUCs have been tested between -20°C and +55°C, providing very good gain stability with temperature. They also include a temperature alarm and power supply shutdown to protect the amplifier from permanent damages in high temperature conditions. Standard communication is via serial port (RS232/RS485), but TCP/IP and SNMP could be selected as options.

Xicom XTS-40X-B1 40W X-Band Block Upconverter (BUC)

The Xicom XTS-40X-B1 High Power Solid State Block Upconverters (BUC) are a series of compact fully integrated antenna mount units designed for low cost operation and longevity.

The L-Band input interfaces to standard modems operating in the 950 – 1450 MHz range.

Intended for outdoor operation, the XTS-40X-B1 eliminates the need for a separate shelter. The construction and light weight allows for direct mount to the antenna. This eliminates long waveguide runs and associated RF losses.

Forced air cooling is implemented in the package to allow reliable operation over extended temperature ranges. The monitor and control (M&C) interface provides a component system status.

The block upconverter operates from an external, weatherized power supply which provides the system DC sources.

The L-Band transmit signal and 10 MHz reference frequency are brought to the unit over a single coaxial line.
